Update: Mercy Ministries, Bible Studies, and Finished Construction

Mercy Ministry

This month, God led our team to help two families living in extremely poor living conditions. One family was in a state of severe neglect (story here). The other family were living in a shelter that was in urgent need of renovation (story here).

Bible Studies

Our team also started short bible studies in the houses of the families who were part of our ministries before the pandemic.

It’s a challenge to go to a family each day and share with each other the Word while also complying to health protocols set by the city (wearing masks, face shields, etc). BUT it’s encouraging how all of these families are now hungrier for the Word of God and the peace, comfort, and hope that the Word brings to them during this time.

Prayer Request:

• Pray that as we preach the Word, it will bear fruit and bring forth God’s harvest.

• Also pray for God’s wisdom, guidance and provision towards our burden to help the students (a lot are in poor living conditions and will struggle in the new school system caused by the pandemic).
