A Visit to ABRA (the place where I grew up and where I will now get married)

Last April, I went to Abra for 10 days to visit Meriam and my future family there. It was the first festival in a long time in her hometown of Luba. Their cultural dances and music were showcased. It was a joyful time meeting her family, relatives, friends, coworkers, church family, and neighbors. Praise report: around 65,000 PHP has been raised for the wedding (40,000 of that is a pledge to be fulfilled in October or November).
Commissioned for Leadership (as God’s servants serving the Body)
This May, during the YWAM Northern Luzon Region conference (8 YWAM bases), four of us were commissioned to be part of the newly formed Northern Luzon Region leadership team (Josefito Gepulla, Johnny Gototos, Kevin Fegcan, and me). The LORD is now leading us into a season of spiritual warfare (prayer and fasting, worship) and training in the Word of God. The team has been a fun group with many different experiences and talents. Meeting together has been a joy.
Bringing God’s WORD to Vietnam (God’s strong desire for Indochina)

Last April, I was invited to teach about King David for a week at a Discipleship Bible School in Vietnam this September. It will cover the books of 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 Chronicles, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs. I prayed about it, and God is clearly saying that I should go. My round-trip tickets have already been purchased thanks to a family that has been part of my team who supports me. I noticed that around the same time God is sending me to Indochina, another base also announced their outreach to the region, showing God’s clear and strong desire to redeem the region
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. Isaiah 40:28 New King James Version
