Ministry Highlight: God sees the need of His children

This week, we helped in the renovation of the home of a family that the YWAM Baguio team has been ministering to. For years, the front of the house and their toilet room was only protected by a tent cover. The tent cover already has holes and the wood holding it was already rotting.

My co-staff helped raise funds from ministry partners to aid in making the front of the house a little more secure from storm and people. We worked with the family to finish the simple renovation in just 2 days.

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Before Renovation. The blue tent is the only cover for the toilet room and the front of the house.

During Renovation:

Aluminum roofing, Hollow blocks, and concrete replaced the old tent cover.

Prayer Request:

• Please pray that God will protect the family during times of storm and rain and that He will also shield them from unscrupulous people.

• Also pray for God's provision for this family's daily needs and for a better shelter for them in the future.
