It’s been 3 weeks since the end of our Bible School for the Nations (BSN, ufon.org) and I already feel the mental tiredness from the outreach. I started desiring to go home to Mindanao for a short break (I haven’t been home for almost 4 years, since pandemic outbreak).

About a week ago, one of our staffs desire the BSN graduates to do BELT seminar (Biblical Education and Leadership Training, ywambelt.org) in her home island. Her church underwent some serious challenge that she believes going back to the simple gospel of Truth (through the BELT) can help in the healing of the church.

I decided to go with them and help teach BELT in their church and then go home (via bus) to Kabacan after the training is done.

There’s currently 4 of us in the team:

  • The BSN fresh graduates: Hannah, Gemelyn, and me.

  • And our staff during the finished BSN: Sheila (she will be our BELT coach)

We will travel on April 21 (Manila to Cebu via plane) and then ride the ship going to Surigao (April 22). We will run the seminar from April 23 to May 3. I will then travel to Kabacan on May 4.

I plan to take a break on the month of May (I had no vacation for four years now). I will return back to YWAM Baguio on June.

My mom is planning to join the BELT seminar. If she will follow through with the plan, we will both be going home together.

Prayer Request:

I’m still raising funds for the plane ticket to Cebu, the ship ticket to Surigao, and the contribution to the funds needed for food/accommodation/transportation/ministry.

And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” EXODUS 33:14
