A Change in Route (to Dagupan then Thailand)

Acts 16:7-8 ESV And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them. So, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas.

As the apostles felt led to go to a certain place in the book of Acts, something happened, and they were no longer allowed to go there. The change could have been an event or simply the collective choices of people that affected the circumstances, resulting in the place no longer being the right one for them to go to.

Last March 30 was the deadline for to raise the international outreach fund so that we can go to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand.

March 30 came and most of us still didn't have the finances needed. Only one female student was able to raise the needed amount.

For me, finances is the way the LORD is showing we're not allowed to go there anymore due to a change in the circumstances. By that time, even though I don't know the specifics why, I know Vietnam and Cambodia is no longer part of our international route.

Our planned trip to Vietnam and Cambodia is now canceled. We're now focusing on staying in Thailand for 3 weeks in May.

Thankfully, the LORD faithfully guided us to the next right location. Our YWAM Dagupan family asked us to come and help them in the Summer ministries (kids summer Bible school, Bible studies, construction). They also said their willing to give a little help on our international outreach situation. We will be staying in YWAM Dagupan until the end of April while raising funds for Thailand.

We are a team of 4 staffs and 3 students (and 3 kids).

Again, Thank you for your continued support (through prayers, encouragements, advice, financial, and many more). May the LORD bless you.
